Course Overview :

Diploma in Medical Radiography programme prepares the students to become a registered radiographer as well as highly trained autonomous professionals who can perform all imaging procedures in radiography, using modern equipment with imaging sources from X-rays, magnetic resonance and ultrasound.

Radiography involves the study of a medical sub field which diagnoses the ailment and diseases of the internal and hidden parts of the body using x-ray, fluoroscopy, ultrasound (sonography), ct scan (computer tomography), MRI (magnetic resonance imaging), angiography, pet (positron emission tomography), etc. course covers the study of both diagnostic and therapeutic radiography which involves treatment of cancers and tumours with radiations. It includes study of subjects and topics such as clinical radiotherapy, clinical chemotherapy, radiobiology, clinical trials, palliative care, etc.

Eligibility :

The basic eligibility for courses in physiotherapy is 10+2 passed or equivalent examination with physics, chemistry, biology and English. At least 45% of marks should be secured in each of these subjects. Age limit for the candidates is 17 years
